ANDREW ENCIU
CEO and Co-Founder
Andrew Enciu co-founded Intrinsic Investments in 2015 and, as President and CEO, contributes to the structuring of deals, strategic planning and day-to-day operations at Intrinsic. Since inception, the fund has grown to manage nearly $70 million in assets across Canada and the United States.
From 2010 to 2015, he was with GWL Realty Advisors, one of the largest commercial real estate management companies in Canada where he managed a portfolio of close to $100 million and provided research coverage for commercial assets across Western Canada.
Prior to joining GWL Realty Advisors he was a Research Associate with Ross Smith Energy Group where he analyzed and performed financial analysis of various North American energy companies.
Andrew graduated with distinction with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a Major in Finance from the University of Calgary in 2010. He was selected as a Fund Manager in the prestigious Calgary Portfolio Management Trust in 2007.

ALEC WANG
Vice President and Co-Founder
Alec Wang co-founded Intrinsic Investments in 2015 and, as Vice-President, contributes a wealth of knowledge in the areas of corporate development, and is involved in strategic planning and deal structuring and financing at Intrinsic.
From 2014 to 2015, he was with HSBC Private Investment Management where he and his team managed private client assets for high net worth individuals across Western Canada. This involved managing each investor’s portfolio in their own unique capacity to help them achieve their financial objectives.
Prior to joining HSBC, he was with Macquarie Group, one of the largest global investment banks where he and his team managed a portfolio of $200 million in assets, identifying opportunities for investors and structuring their portfolios. Within this role, he traveled to China with Canadian provincial premiers as a member of the Canadian Business Delegation in September 2012 where he developed a network with some of the leading companies in China.
Alec graduated with double degrees, one bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance and a degree in Economics from the University of Calgary in 2009.
